Download The ZIP package
below which contains the files required.
2) Create a folder on your website
for example: www.yoursite.com/limitedtimeoffer and upload
cookie.php & currentdate.php to that folder.
3) Create a sales page for your
time limited offer eg: www.yoursite.com/limitedtimeoffer/index.html
4) Edit the first
few lines of cookie.php to set: How many days, The time, Where
to send the visitor when the counter hits 0 etc...
(Note
For Each Timer You Use On Your Website You Will Need To Create
A Separate Folder With All The Required Files And Use A Different
Cookie Name In Line 9 Eg: 'countdown1' 'countdown2')
5) Copy and paste
the code from the text file (page-code.txt) in to the html
of the sale page you have created where you want the counter
to appear.
That's
It! You now have a page that will start counting
down when a visitor lands on the page.
Note: Countdown
will only start for a visitor once they have visited the page
so you'll need to be careful how you craft your emails.
Top Tip:
Set a countdown timer and special offer on your new subscriber
thank you page!
As we know that
the new subscriber started their count down on day "0"
(The day they subscribed) we can now schedule auto responders
accordingly for example on a 14 day offer you can schedule
an email on day 7 saying "Only 7 More Days Left"
etc...
